Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights

Protecting Intellectual and Industrial rights means, respecting knowledge, encouraging innovation and investing in innovation, channeling technology policy and, protecting productivity as a result. Therefore the phenomenon of Intellectual and Industrial rights is able to have an impact on total factor productivity by horizontally cutting both the information society and technology and innovation capacity and the concept of entrepreneurship. In this framework; regulations and institutions concerning Intellectual and Industrial rights are able to affect both national and international commerce and investment behaviour. Likewise the system that protects Intellectual and Industrial rights should be under constant revision and hence should be prevented from moving onto a structure that deters innovation due to over protectionism.
