Industrial Organization

Industrial Organisation is the field that defines the relationship of the companies with the market and the market structure. Industrial Organisation defines a realistic structure, namely the world of flawed competition by adding the such phenomena as limited information, market conformity costs, obstacles in entering and exiting from the market, conveniences in mergers and takeovers, price adjustment costs, relations with the state, the structure of the market (such as oligapoly, monopoly, competitive etc.) to fully competitive market economy. The distance between fully competitive market and flawed competition market is important in terms of total factor productivity. As Industrial Organisation approaches the fully competitive horizon productivity also increases. In this context; dealing with all the elements approximating the market to the environment of flawed competition on the basis of productivity and developing accordingly carries a lot of importance in terms of sustainable growth.
