“Turkey Week” (Turkey@Europe_Week) was organised in Brussels, Paris and Berlin respectively marking the first anniversary of accession negotations between 3-5 October 2006 in order to overcome the existing prejudice in the public opinions of France, Germany and Brussels which are influential in Turkey’s membership process to the EU and also in order to promote Turkey in the most accurate way in Europe. Exhibition openings and concerts were held with the support of Europe’s leading politicians and business world representatives.
