These debates take place during meetings of the Scientific Committee, meetings with the public and result in regular issue of papers and reports.

However the major work of the Bosporus Institute is focused on the annual seminar. This initial event was held in Istanbul and offered the opportunity to broaden discussions to Turkey’s position in Europe and in the world today. This is a broader theme that goes beyond the France-Turkey relationship, thereby attracting prominent European personalities.

The initial annual seminar, which represents the first ever event for the Bosporus Institute treated a daring theme that sparked robust debate: “Turkey/Europe: Starting Over & Reconstructing Turkey – EU Relations”.
