Technology, Innovation and Information Society Committee

"The Committee concentrates on issues such as Research and Development (R&D), technology production, the use and transfer of technology, IT, entrepreneurship, innovation and e-Government."

Technology and innovation capacity are at the heart of the efficiency and productivity that constitute the determining the level of competitiveness.

The Committee aims to play a supporting role in the fields of innovation and technology in cooperation with relevant organizations. In this context, TÜSİAD organizes the “e-Turkey Awards and Congress” with the Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV), designed to encourage developments in the implementation of e-Government.

TÜSİAD also holds the “Technology Awards and Congress” in conjunction with the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) and the Technology Development Foundation of Turkey (TTGV), with a view to encouraging organizations to develop innovative products and technologies.

The work of the Technology, Innovation and Information Society Committee is supported by the Technology, Innovation and Information Society Department at TÜSİAD’s Secretariat General.
