TÜSİAD, Kurumsal Yönetim Çalışma Grubu altında yürüttüğü faaliyetler ile Türkiye’de en iyi kurumsal yönetim uygulamalarının arttırılması, dolayısıyla şeffaflık, adillik, hesap verebilirlik ve sorumluluk ilkeleri çerçevesinde şirketlerimizin rekabet avantajı sağlamasını hedeflemektedir. 18.12.2009 - TÜSİAD Communication on Progress Report / Global Compact


Launched in 2000, the UN global Compact brings business together with UN agencies, labour, civil society and governments to advance 10 universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. In 2007 TÜSİAD signed the Global Compact assuring that it implement these principles and internalize them for continuous performance improvement. The second explicit commitment of the Global Compact is to produce an annual Communication on Progress on the progress that has made in implementing the 10 principles in its activities and share it with its stakeholders. The purpose of this report is to ensure and deepen the commitment of TÜSİAD, safeguard the integrity of the initiative and create a rich repository of practices that serves as basis for continuous performance improvement.
23.06.2009 - Business Ethics and Ethical Management in the World and in Turkey
Enterprises create welfare and prosperity for the society by producing products and services. Therefore, productive and successful enterprises means the increase of the society’s welfare and prosperity. In this context; legal and ethical infrastructures respecting free market competition, giving no respite to informal economy and protecting intellectual property rights with the aim of rendering our country’s enterprises more successful both on a national and international platform need to be formed. In this report concepts, approaches and developments related to business ethics as well as certain practices in Turkey and in the world have been examined; the definition of unethical behaviour has been made, the essential characteristics of an ethical management system and the processes of forming this system have been evaluated and an example of an ethical code in respect of the main titles have been presented. Though the report carries academic elements, attention has been paid for it to assist the enforcers.
